We left Love Cove at 9:20 am heading in the direction of Portland. It didn’t take long to realize the seas were very rough. We decided to find another place to tuck into. It was a short sale and we put the anchor down at 10:10 am.
There is an Inn, Grey Havens Inn, which is technically in
Georgetown, Maine, but of course it is on the water where we are anchored. I’m sure if you look it up you will find it
to be quite expensive. Our anchorage, on
the other hand, is FREE. John Travolta has a small $5,000,000,000 home in Maine. Only 20 bedrooms and 10,000 square feet. Much too small.
We are hoping to get to Portland because Brian’s brother and
girlfriend will be there tomorrow.
However, the weather doesn’t look very good.
I did a little cross stitching today. Very relaxing.
We will see what Day 13 brings us.,
Nice Inn! I'm glad you're able to sit nice and cozy and relax with your cross stitching while viewing the inn from the comfort of the lounge on the boat. Hmmm - would there possibly be a few too many zeros on the price of John Travolta's house? If not - WOW
